It’s discouraging

 Darn! I really have to get back to my blog. Not sure why I’ve not been tempted to continue writing on a regular basis. Maybe if I decide right now to write at least a little bit once a week that would suffice to get me back to writing. I don’t really have much to say so I thought I’d copy out some letters that I have received over the years from my father. Sometimes Ma used to add a PS after she got home from work. I was working as a waitress in NYC way back then. My younger sister, R, would write to us. Us was my older sister, P, with whom I shared an apartment in the summertime. I worked as a waitress in French restaurants to earn some money to buy my books for classes at The University of Connecticut. 

I wish some of the new doodads google has added to blogger would get out of my way! If I wanted them I would have chosen to use them myself. I don’t like being harassed by an on line app! So I guess I’ll quit for now.

Back to the drawing board. Wow, it's been ages since I've felt like blogging. But this may be it for a while more. I've got to get my camera back into proper working order! That is a huge task for me!

What a mess . . .

 I have no idea how the computer has gotten so messed up but I'm am blaming Microsoft. It keeps trying to get me to download Xbox and other nonsense. I will continue to play with it and when I finally get really ticked off I may have to get in touch with our youngest to see if she can set things straight! 

                                                                                                                                                     Well at least I managed to get a photo here. So  I'll call it quits for today. I may just find the patience to work on my blog another day! Qui sait? I may have learned something again! Wow!

Wow, I can't believe I haven't been working on my Blog!

I guess I'll Have to refresh my memory. I seem to have lost my way. Not sure how to even set it up properly. So I am going to copy some old letters and see how I make out!

Dear Irene,

 

     Am enclosing a check for the coverage of your kind loan. Thank you so much for________dating us. Our little trip was a lot of fun but a bit tiring. We made the return journey in the usual 3 1/2 hours and found everything under control. Went to work today and every one believed my little white lie. So that's that for the time being.

     Come over to see us soon. Ray told me tonite that he plans to visit in Moosup with Marshal probably next week end. Thanks again to everyone and all our love to you all.

Well this is interesting to me at least!

I'm trying to make sure that I don't completely forget how the heck to get to my blog! I've got to tell you it ain't easy to be getting ready to complete my eighty first year on this crazy planet. But . . . P and I are alive and still kicking so I guess that's not too bad. How to keep your brain from turning into mush is another question! I find myself getting tired by the time 1pm comes around so I have to make sure that I do anything important in the morning after 9am. For some reason I'm ready to go about what ever business I have to do at that time; then I can't return home much later than noon because that seems to be the extent of my working hours!

At least I did manage to go food shopping today and take a walk. I consider that two jobs well done!
