How to beat the system . . .

Puppy's Pop and I have decided to have breakfast tomorrow at Shady Acres across the border on Route 6 in RI. He is friends with the owner, so that's cool and we can gas up the Pontiac with cheaper than CT gas! Now that will be just grand! Had a funny encounter with a curious squirrel before I left for Groton today. I was sitting in my Vermont Country Rocker reading when I heard something at the window. I looked up and there was a very fat puffy gray squirrel scratching at the screen. He looked in for a bit and decided I wasn't what he was looking for before he scampered onto the glider and off the porch. I've never seen that before. Made me laugh out loud. Brought home the best dinner ever from son-in-law. He gave us some pot roast and gravy that was absolutely the most tender, tasty beef I've ever eaten. Grampa thinks I should serve it for Easter Dinner but that wouldn't be fair since everyone looks forward to the Prime Rib. But if Richoni's offers me more of the pot roast for take home I'll be glad to take it. Found out that doing yard work, specifically raking leaves, picking up leaves and dumping leaves can cause bursitis! Wow, had no idea what the rather painful, hot, nasty red bump spreading over my left elbow was. Now I know. I managed to mess up the bursa. I was afraid I had some kind of poisonous bug bite. Nope, just a common problem. I'm thinking that I can no longer vacuum the house either. Now, that's a nifty idea!
