Was surprised to see how many gourds our garden produced! We cleaned up yesterday, a lot of back breaking work. The only things left are flowers, raspberries (huge and delicious!) and Swiss Chard (I'll cook it up and freeze it.) After the dahlias die off or freeze I'll have to pull them out to winter in the cellar. Then Grampa will put some fertilizer on the poor used soil and we'll have the garden turned before we plant the winter rye. I have to put in at least two photos of the harvest. They are really pretty, I think!
