Happy New Year . . .

Had a busy Thursday off. Thought I was going to work on the puzzle most of the day but Puppy's Pop thought a movie was in order. I had been thinking the same thing so we went to see True Grit at Lisbon Landing. We both liked the movie. It was a good, plain story, well written, acted and directed. When a movie is good it is really great to go to the theatre rather than wait for the DVD. I think we'll also go to see The Transformers when it comes out. Even Rango previews looked pretty interesting! After our matinee performance we went to the Sterling School to fly and walk. The flying field (soccer field) was in good shape because the wind had swept it pretty clean! I just walked around the parking lot as my regular sidewalks were snow covered. To top off the day's low key events I found crunchy ice going down the entire length of the driveway! What a neat sounding walk coming up from putting out the mail. That would make a super video; bright blue sky, sighing wind in the trees, snot nosed kid stomping crunchy, clear ice rivulets in New England on the last day of the year.

Will be off soon to pick up our Kiddo. Wonder if he'll want to make a video or just slide down the partially snow covered hill?
